Green Mission Statement
At NeVaeh Day Spa we are committed to providing you with local, natural and environmentally friendly products and services. We compost our spent loose leaf tea, coffee grounds, we use earth-friendly cleaning products in our facility, we recycle and reuse as much of our packaging as possible. Our walls have been dressed with ICI & Home Depot Paint free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). NeVaeh Day Spa only washes its linens in 100% environmentally friendly cleaning products, recycles paper and plastics. All packaging material is 100% recycled. NeVaeh Day Spa uses biodegradeable garbage bags, rechargeable candles and paper bags.
We strive to keep the cost of services down by being energy efficient and not wasting our natural resources. As a spa it is our mission to relax your mind, rejuvenate your body and revive the true essence of you, as our client, while restoring our commitment to the environment.
How do we do it?
Did you know we have been using natural and environmentally safe products in providing as many spa services as possible?
We use all organic body and nail care lines - SpaRitual. Our organic body and nail care lines are also vegan friendly which means they are not tested on animals.
We make an extra effort daily to recycle plastic, aluminum, cardboard, and glass and reuse materials such as packing supplies and scrap paper. We have also changed the bulbs in the salon to energy efficient bulbs and turn lights off in rooms we are not using to conserve energy.
Our goal is to make recycling and reuse part of our way of doing business.
Products
SpaRitual is committed to using recycled and reusable materials whenever possible.Our lacquer and nail elixir glass bottles as well as our acrylic displays are made from up to 50% recycled materials. All SpaRitual packaging is recyclable. Each ingredient utilized in our products serves a specific topical or formulaic function. The molds created for our custom bottle are designed in such a way that when produced, the plastic waste is minimal.
ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS
Whenever possible they use organic or wildcrafted essential oils in their formulations. Wildcrafted plants are carefully harvested from their natural habitat to ensure that the remaining wild crop will thrive. Organic plants are grown without synthetic herbicides, pesticides or GMO’s. The SpaRitual line of multi-purpose spa treatments are paraben free, biodegradable and are naturally colored. They use natural colorants such as Annatto, Turmeric and Beet root. They also use soy inks and environmentally friendly papers in our printed materials, including FSC certified and post-consumer recycled papers.

Mani & Pedi's
We provide hot stone foot basin that maintain heat throughout the treatment , instead of jets to cut down on energy consumption. Limit our amount of waste by using premium products. All foot paddles are given to our clients for home use to disregards.
Sugar Brig ( Hair Removal)
100 % all natural and organic. Cleans up with WARM WATER. Does not create a mess. No messy heaters required, to save on energy consumption.
Facials & Body Treatment
Promotional Material
We provide our guests with packaging (bags, tissue, etc.) made from significant amounts of post consumer recycled materials.
We also send email newsletter to clients to cut down on paper waste.   
Energy and Water Use
We have Energy Star rated models ( washer and dryer). Lights in public areas, and in treatment rooms are turned off along with equipment that is not being used.
We purchased low-flow toilets, to really reduce your water footprint.
We water landscaping in the morning to reduce loss due to evaporation. Along with 2 rain barrels to collect downfall to water plants and flowers and veggie garden.
We have filtration system for our tap, which will give you fresh, clean drinking water without contributing to the mountains of plastic waste polluting our oceans and choking our landfills.
We set the thermostat a few degrees warmer or cooler depending on the season
Cleaning
Laundry is very important to hygiene in our industry, but we can still take into account that is why we use bleach and other harsh chemicals, they wind up in our water ways. By using natural, biodegradable laundry and cleaning products, we can make our practices greener still.
We use unbleached paper products. Paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filter, and many other products.
We supply cotton towels in the washroom to cut down paper waste
